The Science of Waves (Discovery Channel)

A cliff face collapses creating the start of a tidal wave. This shot was created using 3D graphics with a live action foreground to give scale and realism. Real grass and rock textures along with particle effects to create dust and small debris were combined to make the final effect extremely realistic.
