Titles and in-programme graphics for international coverage of the Volvo Ocean Race. The titles show the crew of a racing yacht battling against the elements as a storm hits them during the race.
In actuality the shoot took place on a calm, grey day, and some shots took place in harbour. So replacement skies and stormy seas were tracked to the original shots and additional water and rain was added to create the storm feel. For some shots, ballast tanks were flooded on one side of the yacht, causing it to lean dramatically and for a few shots the camera got a good soaking too!
